Roses' Beads

These colourful handcrafted accessories made in Uganda by Rose and her community from recycled magazines create the ultimate gift.

The beads are made by cutting magazines into fine strips and rolling them tightly. They are then glued and varnished to ensure durability and a fine glossy finish. Finally the beads are colour sorted and made into a variety of bracelets and necklaces.

Rose is currently making bracelets and necklaces in various lengths, colours and bead sizes. The proceeds of the sale of these beads go towards providing a sustainable income to Rose and the people in her community.
